Safety solutions provider Survitec is to display the Stat-X Fire suppression system at Asia Pacific Maritime 2018.

Attendance at the event reaffirms Survitec’s commitment to the region, where it has a long and established history, ensuring a rapid response and costs savings for its customers.

The exhibition takes place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore between the 14th and 16th March, and Survitec’s experts will be on hand to answer all technical enquiries.

Survitec owns three different divisions in Singapore covering the marine and offshore markets dealing with ship owners, ship managers and shipyards in South East Asia – Survitec Safety Solutions Singapore, Survitec Fire Solutions Singapore and W.H. Brennan & Co – and intends to move them into the same premises located on the north side of the island towards the end of 2018.

Survitec’s products are used in all types of new-build vessels in yards and can also be retrofitted into vessels already in operation. Survitec’s solutions and global service stations are class society certified, meaning they can inspect and maintain all equipment to the highest standards.

Additional products on show at Survitec’s stand include the life raft rental and starter skid – which customers can inspect – as well as the Maritime Protection nitrogen generator and state-of-the-art Crewsaver lifejackets.

Joseph Choo, Managing Director of South East Asia for Survitec, said: “We are delighted to be displaying a selection of equipment at Asia Pacific Maritime 2018, with the Stat-X Fire suppression system taking centre stage. Safety at sea takes a number of different forms and being alert to the potential threat of fire is vital for crew and passengers alike. We have a number of different solutions from suppression systems and mist detectors through to flame-retardant equipment and we invite all attendees to discuss their needs with us.

“With more than 60 sites and service centres across Asia, we are well positioned to offer blanket coverage of the region and not only help customers with new equipment, but also to ensure it is maintained and serviced to the highest standards.”
