Heli-One places order for 85 MK44 Lifejackets

We are delighted to announce that Heli-One in Stavanger, Norway has placed an order for 85 MK44 Lifejackets.  The deal was completed in co-operation with our Norwegian distributor Aviation & Survival Support AS who played an active role in securing the agreement.

Manufactured from breathable flame retardant fabric, the MK44 is a fully adjustable waistcoat, available with either a single chamber or a twin chamber inflatable stole which is contained within a protective pouch.  Approved to CAA standards, the self righting MK44 is the industry’s number one choice Lifejacket due to its excellent safety and survival characteristics.

As part of the order Heli-One has also requested that RFD Beaufort supply Techtest Beacons, a compact light-weight emergency unit favoured by a wide customer base including armed forces, commercial airlines and off-shore helicopter operators.  This will bring the value of the order to just over £250K.

The Jackets will be phased in over the next 6 months across Heli-One’s European fleet of helicopters.  Heli-One is the world’s largest provider of third-party helicopter maintenance with headquarters in Delta, British Columbia and facilities in Stavanger, Norway; Ft Collins, Colorado and Adelaide, Australia
