We were delighted to learn that RFD Toyo liferafts were used during the filming of the new Japanese movie, ‘The Last Message’.  The opportunity arrived when representatives from the movie contacted RFD Japan requesting the inclusion of the world leading brand in the film.   Set in Japan the story follows a group of Japanese Coast Guard rescue divers and their attempt to evacuate passengers after an accident at a giant natural gas plant.

The Last Message is the third movie of the Coast Guard ‘Umizaru’ series. Umizaru translates as Sea Monkey, referring to the individuals who work in the Japanese Coast Guard responsible for responding to disasters at sea.

Commenting on the product placement representatives from RFD Japan stated “We are very happy to see RFD Toyo liferafts on the big screen, and are proud that over 5 million people who visited the theater saw RFD liferafts in action in The Last Message”
