Survitec Group Limited, has acquired the business of “Seaweather” (Parker Knight Holdings Ltd) for an undisclosed sum on 1st September 2010. The Seaweather business carries out sales and servicing of Marine and Aviation Survival Equipment across three locations in the UK, Dartford in Kent, Southampton and Liverpool. Its customers include P&O, Carnival, Stena Lines, Thomson Airways and Agusta Westland Helicopters.

Survitec Group CEO Doug Baxter said of the transaction: “Bringing Seaweather within the Survitec Group is an important step in expanding our Service and Distribution business globally. Seaweather has built an excellent reputation with their customer base for high levels of quality service around the clock, 365 days a year. We will look to enhance and expand their activities to ensure we offer our customers an unrivalled level of service” Richard George who has successfully lead the development of this business over many years will stay on at Seaweather and work with the Survitec Group to grow the business.
