'Battant' fishing vessel crew saved by a Eurovinil Liferaft

The Survitec group were delighted to learn of the survival of two French fishermen whose ship, the 'Battant' sank 15km off the coast of France on August 27th.  Their boat sank quickly after encountering problems forcing the men to deploy their liferaft, manufactured by Eurovinil, Italy, part of the Survitec Group. Using flares that come as standard in the liferaft the men were easily spotted by vessels involved in the search and rescue of the pair and they were safely returned to shore by morning.

Recently serviced in Survitec's French base, RFD France in Calais, the Eurovinil liferaft is part of a range of survival solutions designed and manufactured by the Survitec Group, supported by over 400 global service stations.  Our continued dedication to ensuring safety and survivability guaranteed that when called upon our products are always ready to aid our customer’s in the most extreme of circumstances.
