Following the worst earthquake in 200 years that struck less than ten miles from the Caribbean city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, aid workers have been working around the clock under extreme circumstances in order to provide relief to the growing numbers affected by the disaster.  Due to the damaged structures and collapsed buildings, organisations such as the Red Cross are using EV Inflatable tents as hospitals and medical centers for everything from basic shelter and first aid to surgical procedures. 

The EV inflatable tent, manufactured by one of the Survitec companies based in Italy can be deployed in a very short period of time without any construction work which can take weeks or months in remote or damaged areas.  The tents are uniquely designed for transport and rapid deployment to areas that have been hit by a natural disaster like the earthquake that devastated Haiti.
