Survitec reassures Plastimo Liferaft customers of continued commitment to servicing and quality

Survitec Group, the world leading manufacturer and servicing company to the safety and survival equipment industry has today reached out to owners of Plastimo Marine Liferafts in the wake of the recent financial difficulties being experienced by companies in the Navimo family.

Survitec has 37 owned service stations where it sells and services a number of its own brands including RFD, DSB, EV, RFD Toyo and SurvitecZodiac. It also stocks and sells the Plastimo Marine brand in its product range and services a significant number of Plastimo Marine liferafts every year world-wide, many in the southern hemisphere at its stations in New Zealand and Australia. Survitec will continue to trade with Plastimo Marine and will hold spares for the product range, including the Pacific, Cruiser, Coastal, Offshore and Transocean ranges.

Survitec is keen to reassure customers that during this time of uncertainty, the Survitec service station network will continue to offer annual servicing and certification for Plastimo Marine Liferafts and will also support customers with replacement spares, product advice and guidance for the foreseeable future.

Whilst Survitec is unable to comment on the status of the Plastimo Marine business and other companies within the Navimo Group, it is on hand to support its customers' needs to remain safe at sea and can advise on and provide alternative safety and survival products at all its locations around the globe.
